Sealed Sleeve Bearing Fans – Long Life at a Low cost
Orion’s Challenger Series fans now feature a unique patented sealed sleeve bearing system that has an exceptionally long life expectancy of more than 50,000 hours at 25°C (L10). MTBF is in excess of 200,000 hours. The new sealed sleeve fan technology retains lubricant by using metal foils that serve as a guard to redirect and recycle the lubricant. The fans were developed in response to a continuing demand for fans with a wider temperature range and longer life than sleeve bearing fans, but at a lower cost in comparison to traditional ball bearing fans.

Vane-Axial Series - Increased Airflow in High Static Pressure
Orion Fans has developed a new series of application specific high
performance DC fans. The VA Series fans (vane-axial) are available in
the most popular frame sizes and feature exceptional airflow in
applications with extremely high static pressure. Because they maximize
airflow in nearly sealed enclosures, they are ideal for networking and
telecommunications equipment, industrial electronic cabinets and
medical imaging equipment with high power loads. Features include a
polarity-protected brushless DC motor with auto restart, dual ball
bearing system, and is available with all Orion Fans special function
options.

Orion Fans Versatile DC Fan Series
The OD1238 Series is the most popular, aggressively-priced DC fan
series offered by Orion Fans. With the ability to produce 45 – 220cfm,
this fan really packs some power and features a number of options,
including tachometer outputs, thermal speed control, PWM input,
constant speed with variable voltage input, rotation detector alarm,
and special order waterproof versions.

Available in AC or DC pre-wired 3-, 6-, and 9-fan models, Orion Fans’
standard modular fan tray designs allow for easy and low cost
expansion, up to 2000CFM. Standard options include dual voltage, ultra
high speed, noise reduction and remote monitoring for isolated
